CLIENT FOUND NOT GUILTY OF MULTIPLE CRIMINAL CHARGES
Recently, an NC woman found herself facing quite a bit of trouble when she was charged with the following criminal offenses:
- Driving while impaired (DWI)
- Felony assault on a law enforcement officer
- Two counts of assault on law enforcement officers
- Resisting arrest
Law enforcement who was involved with the woman’s arrest alleged that she was impaired and attacked multiple police officers by striking one with a vehicle and fighting/injuring two others. The consequences of being found guilty on all offenses were severe, so the woman reached out to Goolsby Law Firm for help.
Attorney Thom Goolsby assisted the client in taking her case to a Superior Court trial – where she denies all of the charges against her. Due to his aggressive defense and energetic actions in advocating for the client, she was found not guilty of the DWI, felony assault on a law enforcement officer, and the misdemeanor assaults on law enforcement officers.
The outcome of an individual case depends on a variety of factors unique to that case. Case results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any similar or future case.
